£11.37 per hour

The Distance Learning Unit continues to support an increasing number of adult learners wishing to achieve nationally accredited qualifications across a range of programmes. Due to the addition of a new qualification to the portfolio of courses offered we are looking for a Scriptmarker to mark on the Level 2 qualification in the Principles of Warehousing and Storage.
You must have a teaching and/or assessment qualification and be able to demonstrate occupational competence through experience and/or qualifications to assess the 5 units that comprise this Level 2 qualification as follows :
• Introduction to Warehousing and Storage
• Understand how to receive and store goods
• Understand how to process orders and prepare them for dispatch
• Understand how to check stock and update records
• Customer Service in warehousing and storage
You must also be able to commit to approximately 15 hours marking a week.
Working from home, you will be allocated learners’ assessments to electronically assess against specified learning outcomes for the course. You are required to provide detailed and developmental feedback within agreed timescales to keep learners engaged and motivated to succeed.
Please note that due to a local quality assurance agreement you must not be working in another capacity for more than 22 hours to be available for marking up to 15 hrs in this role.
